MESA segment moulds
Your TBM project is on the right track if you have high-quality segment moulds to create
perfect rings !
Segment moulds are designed by MESA`s experienced design team per client`s design requirements.
Production is carried out with ISO 9001 assurance in MESA Factory, one of the largest steel mould production facilities in Europe.

Side and front panels are processed in high-end 3D CNC machines and high-tech 3D measuring systems are used to ensure that all dimensional tolerances fit the contractual requirements.
Once the production of first set of moulds are completed, client`s representative checks the concrete dimensions and tolerances on the test ring.

After client`s approval, the production is finalized with two layer of epoxy painting, installation of rubber gaskets and vibrators.

Segment moulds are delivered to job site
pre-assembled, ready for precast segment production.
Once the precast elements reach required strength, cured segments transferred to TBM`s erector.
